About Author

Therese Adelle Prentice is a Canadian author and poet with a heart devoted to storytelling, faith, and the power of the written word. Born and raised in rural Saskatchewan, she grew up surrounded by the beauty of nature, a deep sense of community, and the values of resilience and perseverance. Her love for words blossomed at an early age, drawing inspiration from her surroundings, personal experiences, and spiritual connection.

Adelle has worked in industries ranging from printing and hospitality to education and youth care. Her passion for learning led her to become a Certified Youth Care Worker and an Educational Assistant, where she dedicated herself to supporting young minds and fostering growth.

Yet, poetry became Adelle’s true calling—a space where she could capture emotions, wisdom, and divine reflections into verses that touch the soul. Writing has always been a part of her life, from short stories and dedications to heartfelt poetry. Over time, her spiritual journey deepened, and she found herself drawn to themes of faith, healing, and the unseen forces that guide us.

Her book, Spirit and Light, is a testament to that journey. It is a collection of poetry infused with hope, transformation, and the belief that we are all connected to something greater. Each poem encourages, reflects personal experiences, and embraces the divine presence in everyday life.

When she’s not writing, Adelle enjoys spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandson, Leo. She finds inspiration in nature, the people she meets, and the quiet moments where creativity flows freely.
